Marketing campaigns are about demand generation and awareness.
To assist you in uncovering new opportunities within your install base or prospect database, Symantec Hosted Services has a number of tips to integrate with your existing sales and marketing strategy.
Next Steps >>
1. Introduce the partnership by using the partnership email templates.
2. Run your own Call Blitz campaign, using the call script templates, to upgrade and upsell your existing users or attach additional services to your install base using other Symantec services.
3. Create leads by offering your customer base an informative material or free trial for MessageLabs Hosted Email Services - using Symantec Hosted Services’ easy ‘Click & Go Campaign’ tool.
Additional tips >>
- Target list must contain up to date and accurate contact information including email adresses;
- Ensure contacts are IT decision makers;
- Brief your sales team to follow up contacts touched by a marketing campaign and aim to tee up meetings with those contacts;
- Think about what solution you want to promote i.e. Web Security, Email AV & AS, URL Filtering, Instant Messaging Service & IMSS,
Email Archiving Service, Image Control & Content Control, Policy Based Encryption or Boundary Encryption;
- Set an objective for the outcome of the campaign? E.g. A specified number of opportunities or sales meetings resulting from the campaign and sales follow up;
- Identify opportunities and get help from your MessageLabs Sales Account Manager to close the deals.
