Confidentiality
Scale is important but it’s only part of the story – the confidentiality of your data matters too. We carry out extensive penetration and security testing to ensure our infrastructure is hardened against attacks. To control physical access, we use high-security data centres and maintain our servers in secure cages. In addition, to provide personnel reliability, we apply strict ISO 27001-certified procedures to recruitment and HR management. We separate duties and use different teams to develop, test, install and manage the software which powers our hosted services.
Integrity
You can’t afford to lose your data ‘between the cracks.’ The whole system has to work consistently so we invest heavily in redundancy at every level to enable us to offer a 100% service level for email delivery. At the regional level, we have multiple, redundant data centres. There are even two independent network operating centres on different continents.
Availability
We know our clients don’t want the risk of an email outage and don’t want to experience delays, so our
service level agreements include 100 percent availability, average email scanning time within 60 seconds and average latency of no more than 100 milliseconds for web requests. We offer money back remedies if performance levels outlined in our SLA are not met, and work round the clock to give our clients continuous, high-performance.
We achieve this by over-provisioning servers to give multiple levels of redundancy. For example, in normal operations we aim to run our email servers at 33 percent of their maximum capacity. Operating at this level, we could lose entire data centres without impacting service delivery.
